The crowd seemed like they were beaming as bright as Saturday’s afternoon sun, during the first-ever Folsom Italian Festival. Associazione Regionale Abruzzese of Delco and Delaware Valley held the day of family, friends, food and fun on March 29 at the Folsom Fire Company to showcase and celebrate Italian American heritage and culture.
The streets surrounding the firehouse were blocked off for the free event and were quickly filled with thousands of attendees and almost 60 vendors offering everything from pizza, pasta, water ice and cannoli to T-shirts, music, candy, breads, jewelry, and a variety of other handcrafted items, from soaps, wines and candles to seasonal décor, hats, and all types of Italian-themed merchandise.
