Mike DeSapio, president of the Italian-American Heritage Club of Hunterdon County has announced that the club will be showing the award winning 2006 film "The Golden Door" (Nuovomondo) as part of its Italian Film Series.

It traces a Silicilian villager's arudous and humiliating journey to Ellis Island in his quest to find the land of his dreams. The film is rated PG-13 and will be shown in Italian with English subtitles. Runtime is 118 minutes
