The Nutley-Belleville Columbus Day and Italian Heritage Month Parade Committee held an Italian Pasta Dinner Fundraiser at the Nutley Parks and Recreation Building, 44 Park Ave. Approximately 270 people attended the pasta dinner. It is the sole fundraiser for the parade other than the parade’s ad book.
Patrons enjoyed all you can eat pizza, pasta, sausage, meatballs, salad and bread. Pasta included ziti or broccoli and cavatelli. An antipasto dish was waiting for guests at each table. After the main course, volunteers supplied each table with a platter of cookies to enjoy with coffee or tea for dessert.
