Sunday, September 21, 2025 - 11.30 am. Yogi Berra Stadium, 8 Yogi Berra Drive, Little Falls, NJ - On the campus of Montclair State University. Get tickets here. The New Jersey Italian Heritage Commission is proud to co-sponsor the upcoming Big Catch event at the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center on Saturday, September 21, 2025.
This special celebration will highlight the life, legacy, and cultural impact of Yogi Berra—one of baseball’s greatest icons and a beloved Italian American figure whose story continues to inspire generations. Yogi Berra would have turned 100 in 2025. What better way to celebrate one of the most beloved Italian American baseball players in history than by capturing a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the game he loved best?
The event will feature interactive exhibits, family-friendly activities, and educational programming designed to honor Yogi’s remarkable journey both on and off the field. By joining forces with the Yogi Berra Museum, the Commission continues its mission of promoting Italian heritage and sharing the stories of Italian Americans who have shaped our nation’s history and culture.
We invite our community to attend and celebrate this extraordinary event, paying tribute to Yogi Berra’s enduring legacy and the shared values of heritage, family, and perseverance. Learn more about the day’s agenda and get tickets here: https://yogisbigcatch.org/event-details/
