Old Library Theatre (OLT), Fair Lawn Recreation Department’s resident theatre company is excited to present the Off Broadway hit, My Big Gay Italian Wedding, at the Fair Fawn Community Center. Written by Anthony J. Wilkinson, the play satirizes the controversies surrounding same-sex marriage as well as gay and lesbian stereotypes.
Performances take place on Friday, September 17 and Saturday, September 18 at 8:00pm, and Sunday, September 19 at 2:00pm. Anthony Pinnunziato, a gay Italian-American from a large chaotic family, wishes to marry his boyfriend Andrew Polinski in a traditional Italian ceremony. Anthony's overbearing mother won't give her blessing unless Andrew's estranged mother also gives her blessing and the ceremony is performed by a priest.
