For us, every month is Italian Heritage Month! We’re excited to share that our award-winning feature documentary And They Came to Chicago: The Italian American Legacy is now available on Prime Video in the U.S.A. and the U.K. Narrated by Tony Award-winning actor Joe Mantegna, ATCTC follows the rise of Italian enclaves across Chicagoland, touching on universal themes of identity, assimilation, prejudice and social justice across the decades.
Supported by major grants from the National Italian American Foundation, the Illinois Humanities Council, the Commission for Social Justice - Order Sons of Italy in America, and the generous contributions of countless businesses and individuals, ATCTC originally aired as a primetime special on WTTW11, and a shorter version on NBC5, in Spring 2007. Buona Visione! Watch it. Share it. Review it. Rate it.
