Radio Flyer has celebrated its 100th anniversary by displaying a 27-foot-long version of its little red wagon in downtown Chicago. The well-known childhood toy and essential mode of transportation is dearly loved by millions of kids (and grownups) worldwide.
It was created by an Italian immigrant, Antonio Pasin, who started building wooden toy wagons in Chicago in 1917. He named his creation Radio Flyer because of his fascination with the new form of communication.
