During the Italian Renaissance, patronage of the musical arts was a point of pride for countless aristocratic families. As Italian Americans in the Windy City, we have a proud legacy to uphold, and there is no worthier recipient of our patronage than Maestro Riccardo Muti. As Music Director of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra since 2010, he has burnished our reputation abroad while unselfishly sharing his considerable talents at home.
To thank him for those inestimable contributions, Fra Noi is proud to rally financial support for our beloved maestro through the creation of the Medici Guild. Our goal is to raise a minimum of $1,000 a year, which will earn the guild a listing in the CSO’s program book that’s distributed at concerts throughout the year. The minimum donation is $100, with Fra Noi Editor Paul Basile making the first contribution.
