There are certain signs of spring in St. Joseph — warmer weather, longer times for daylight and the Saint Joseph Symphony performing cheery, bright music. Continuing its globetrotting adventure, the symphony will let its audience settle in with some Italian heat as it performs its spring concert, titled “Springtime in Italy.”
Teaming up with acclaimed violinist Arturo Delmoni, the symphony will perform three classic pieces from composers such as Felix Mendelssohn, Johann Sebastian Bach and Jean Sibelius at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 24. After a gloomy, cold winter, Saint Joseph Symphony director Rico McNeela says who doesn’t want a nice, musical injection of spring?
