You’ve known him as a not-so-lucky boxer on television’s “Taxi” and later as a live-in housekeeper on the long-running ABC sitcom “Who’s the Boss?” Now, Tony Danza is stepping it up as a song and dance man in “Standards & Stories,” coming to CityStage on Nov. 12 at 7 p.m.
As the title suggests, Danza will share stories from his life and perform a selection of his favorite tunes from the Great American Songbook. Danza long ago stepped out of the comforts of television and onto the live stage, establishing himself as a song and dance man and receiving rave reviews for his performance in the Broadway musical comedy “Honeymoon in Vegas.”
