The Accademia Verdiana del Teatro Regio di Parma is set to hold a course in New York from Jan. 13 to 17, 2025. The course is supported by International Friends of Festival Verdi, Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò, and Fondazione Prof. Roberto Massini ETS and will allow 10 young singers who were selected to take intensive courses with a scholarship of $500.
The week will explore the Verdi repertoire and the new interpretative practices. Students will have access to critical editions and masterclasses with Eleonora Buratto and Jonathan Friend. The week will end with a concert at the Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò on Jan. 22, 2025. The objective of the course comes from the Accademia Verdiana, which is the young artist program at the Teatro Regio di Parma.
