Chazz Palminteri will return to Broadway in A Bronx Tale, the musical based on his solo show that also inspired the 1993 film of the same name. The Oscar nominee will take on the role of Sonny on weekday performances beginning May 24, becoming the first actor to play the same part in a play, film, and stage musical.
Original cast member and Tony nominee Nick Cordero will continue with the show, playing Sonny—a mobster who takes a young Italian-American under his wing—on Saturday and Sunday performances at the Longacre Theatre.
