
The Federation of Italian American Organizations of Queens presents its Italian Nights, a weekly series at Athens Square Park (30th Street and 30th Ave, Astoria) on Wednesdays, from 7-9 PM. On Wednesday, August 6, the series starred Francesca Cavaliere singing old time hits, presented by Blue Brick Real Estate.
The series continues tonight, August 13, featuring Gino Belmonte known for performing early 40’s to current hits, presented by George & Terri Delis. August 20 will bring Illusion 2 Band, featuring Al Amico & Friends for those who love to dance to Italian music presented by Pat Gravino & Equitable Advisors; and on August 27 Antonio Guarna will rock Neapolitan classics and Italian pop music presented by Orsogna Mutual Aid Society. —Annette Alberts
