Milanese jewelry designer Monica Castiglioni, who specializes in edgy, often organic-feeling sculptural fashion pieces, opened her first-ever U.S. outpost this week on bustling Court Street in the Cobble Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn, N.Y.

The 1,000-square-foot retail store, gallery, and event space showcases Castiglioni's innovative collection—which is largely cast in solid bronze but also employs materials such as silver, felt, Pyrex, and 3-D–printed nylon—alongside the work of Italian lighting artist Davide Groppi.
