Attention! Italian American families! An award-winning New York-based production company called 4th Row Films is doing research for a documentary on Italian Sunday Dinners. With this documentary, they are hoping to get to know Italian culture through the ritual of the Sunday dinner, and explore how the modern world has affected this tradition. They reached out to Italian Charities of America to connect with Italian families who may be interested in participating.
If you or your family hold regular Sunday dinners, or if you did at one point in the past, you may be the perfect fit for this documentary. If you are interested in being involved in whatever capacity you are comfortable with, please consider reaching out to Miranda Gershoni at 4th Row Films at miranda@4throwfilms.com to set up a meeting at your earliest convenience. They are hoping to meet this upcoming Wednesday, July 31st, but can be flexible. To learn more about their previous work, visit 4throwfilms.com.
