A mix of up-and-coming Italian prospects and members of the Team Italy roster for the 2023 World Baseball Classic will meet in Scottsdale, Arizona for Spring Training camp. In anticipation of the 2023 World Baseball Classic (WBC) in Taichung, Taiwan, Team Italy will be joined by promising Italian prospects for a week-long training camp at Notre Dame Preparatory High School’s Roskos Family Field in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The Italian delegation is due to arrive on February 22, 2023. Players not participating in the WBC are expected to return to Italy on March 1, 2023. Team Italy manager Mike Piazza organized the gathering with the dual purpose of allowing professional players not participating in MLB-affiliated Spring Training to work with the best up-and-coming prospects.
