WTI Magazine #73 2015 November 27
Author : Author Translation by:
Ciao from Rome! Welcome to the 73rd issue of our online magazine. Our great family is getting bigger and bigger! Today we want to welcome two new members of the We the Italians team. First of all, Los Angeles! We now have a representative in the City of Angels. Mariella Salvatori knows LA and its Italian community very well, in fact she is a prominent member of it! She will represent us there, helping We the Italians in bringing our contents and our vision to the Big Orange. Welcome Mariella!
The other new entry is Giosué Prezioso, a young dynamic talented young Italian who will write for our magazine once a month about our beautiful Italian language. Giosué has a B.A. in Art History and Italian Studies at John Cabot University, and works as curator and consultant for art-foundations and art-institutions. Specialized in teaching, mediating and translating foreign languages, he also collaborates, as intern, with international academic institutions. Art, teaching and ancient languages are his main foci and passions. Welcome Giosué!
Last but not least, our magazine welcomes a wonderful return: from this issue we will have again a column you all like very much, Italian Little Italies. The Little Italies we talk about are the small towns all over Italy described and represented by "Associazione I borghi più belli d'Italia": marvelous historical places little known with many hidden gems in terms of culture, history, traditions, art. The best demonstration of how incredibly beautiful and rich our beloved Italy is!
Before to say goodbye, let me remind you the awesome opportunity given by the partnership between John Cabot University and We The Italians: two brand new Italian-American Heritage Scholarship. You can find the specifics in this previous editorial, or you can contact admissions@johncabot.edu for more information.
That's all for now. So stay tuned, fasten your seat belt and enjoy the ride. The future's so bright, we gotta wear shades!
