Katy Perry's Prismatic world has started. The singer had been counting down the days by posting a different outfit sketch on Instagram every day - and now we've seen her tour wardrobe on the stage.
There's a red tasselled body suit, a firework emblazoned ball gown, a sheer 'birthday suit' and a leopard print cat look with a tail and ears.
One of our favourite looks is a Jeremy Scott for Moschino '80s combo, featuring patterned leggings, a bold yellow emoji-printed jacket, skirt and bra top. It also seems Katy's developed a passion for Italian style as alongside the Moschino outfit, she's also unveiled looks from Valentino and Roberto Cavalli.
There's a dramatic Valentino dress. The floorsweeping sheer gown is pale pink and covered in a multicoloured butterflies. It comes with a sparkling cape with multicoloured lining. It's annotated 'happiness is like a butterfly'.
Italian fashion designer Cavalli created two costumes for Perry to wear on-stage during her Prismatic World Tour. The Kaleidoscope Brodè dress, a sparkling mini-dress which is embroidered with prism crystals, sequins and iridescent micro baguettes. The material is a tulle breastplate and a patchwork leather skirt designed to make 3D reflections under the lights.
The second is the Crocodile Scarab look which includes a skirt and top both created with multi-colored, mirrored leather. It is topped with a holographic reptile biker jacket.
Finally, Katy Perry does her best modern-day Cleopatra in a custom Fausto Puglisi look featuring a lilac-and-gold crystal embroidered leotard, fringe gladiator skirt, and over-the-knee boots.
"I am so happy to be a part of this larger-than-life creative adventure," Puglisi said of his signature design. "Katy is a modern pop warrior — fearless, independent and so colorful. I was inspired to reference my love for Hollywood magic, and passion for freedom and self-expression to create a Cleopatra dream".
