Ciao from Rome! As we are preparing very exciting news for all our ever growing number of friends, here at We the Italians have spent almost all October traveling through the United States, meeting wonderful Italian American communities and presenting in ten different places our book. The book is now offered on Amazon with a discount, as you all can decide to make it a perfect Christmas gift for somebody in your family, or some friends, or a member of your Italian club ... 100 different interviews about Italy and the US, what's better than that?

October also saw us in the Italian Parliament, telling a few stories about how wonderful is the Italian American community. The things we told about the contributions of our fellow Italians to the greatness of America were unknown to the public, and we did our best to represent how much passionate and committed are the Italians who live in the US. It was a honor, and a pleasure.

We also attended the presentation of the many 2016 edition of the Rapporto sugli Italiani nel Mondo by Fondazione Migrantes. Every year this document becomes more precious, the one and only point of reference about the evolution of the Italian emigration abroad. In 2015 107.000 Italians moved abroad: this and other important topics were discussed during the presentation, in Rome.

So, the third tour of presentations in the United States was a big success! We've been in Fairfield NJ, Washington DC, St. Louis MI, Chicago IL (twice), Milwaukee WI, Philadelphia PA, Westchester NY, Cambridge MA and Providence RI. Everywhere we had a big success of people interested in knowing more about the book, the interviews and about We the Italians in general. Now, considering the three tours of 2016, we've done 25 presentations in the US. And we're gonna come back in 2017 ...
