The 15th Southington Annual Italian-American Festival is bringing full roster of cultural celebrations and entertainment along with a variety of local food to lower Center Street July 26, 27 and 28. The festival is sponsored annually by three local Italian clubs – Sons of Italy, UNICO and Sorelle D’Italia in America.
Organizer David Zoni, of UNICO, said it will be held Friday July 26 from 5 to 11 p.m., Saturday from 1 to 11 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. Vendors will line both sides of the street selling food, crafts and other items. There will also a main stage area with plenty of room to sit under shaded tents or in the sun while eating and enjoying music and performances. Additionally, Zoni said that the Children’s Carnival in Factory Square will have expanded offerings this year including more games for older children.
