Anthony Iacone, owner/president of K & I Associates Inc., founder of the Joseph J. Barrett All-Star Basketball Game, a fourth-degree knight in the Father Donnelly Knights of Columbus, a chairman of the St. James Wall of Honor Committee, and the founder of the Phi Sigma Epsilon Fraternity Alumni Association in Superior, has completed his new book “Mario”: a gripping narrative of Mario, a second-generation Italian American whose life is filled with toils and dismays in romance, family, and peers.
Author Iacone depicts a story that reflects personal as well as other’s struggles in different aspects of life: “Time always has a way of healing any wounds; it was no different for Mario. As the years rolled by, he went to college, got married, had two children, got divorced, and started all over again. He hung in there time and time again. Mario turned out to be a real survivor.”
