
Recently, the Blauvelt Sons of Italy hosted a dinner to welcome several new members into the organization. The group also honored two Rockland County students with scholarships for their commitment and dedication to learning the language of Italian.
Catlin Hartnett and Greg DeCola, both of Tappan Zee High School, received scholarships for their study of Italian and were accompanied by their parents as well as their teachers. Greg DeCola's father is the current president of the Lodge located in Blauvelt.
