
Palma Fratto-Evans has been elected president of Geneva Lodge 2397 Order Sons of Italy in America. She becomes the first woman president of the lodge since its founding in 1977 and since the merger with the Geneva American Italian Ladies Lodge 2397A in 2016.
Fratto-Evans and her 14-member council of officers were officially installed at the lodge’s annual Installation Ceremony on March 4. Sandy Meleca, Grand Deputy to Geneva Lodge, acted as installing officer for the ceremony, assisted by State Trustee Dr. Joe Rubé and District VIII Deputy Tom Meleca.
