Thursday, December 28, 2017 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. WAB: 740 University Avenue, Rochester, New York. Bordighera Press has published a special issue of Voices in Italian Americana (VIA) dedicated to new Italian-American folktales. The issue features the first work seen in this genre in decades and includes authors from Italy, Canada, and the U.S.
Two Rochester writers and W&B instructors, Anne Coon and M.J. Iuppa, are among the contributors and will read at this event. Nick DiChario, former W&B director of education and programming, guest edited the issue and will be in town to talk about the project. You can meet the authors, purchase a copy of the collection for $10, and enjoy a casual evening of Italian-American culture and conversation.
