A plant expansion in Cartersville means new jobs for the area. Franco Rossi, the president and CEO of Aquafil USA announces the Italy-based company's investing 25 million dollars to refurbish its main carpet fiber manufacturing plant and add a second facility.
Rossi says Aquafil will add up to 100 new jobs, bringing total local employment to just under 400. Some of those openings have already been filled. The rest will be hired over the next several months.
