Congratulations to the new Honorary Consul with whom the Consulate General in SF will be working on strengthening the relationship with Salt Lake City and Utah in every field, economic, commercial, investments, cultural, Italian language etc.
Deep thanks on behalf of the Italian Government and Institutions to former Honorary Consul Mike Homer for the outstanding work he has done in these years extraordinarily collaborating with the CG in SF and the Embassy in Washington DC.
It has been a privilege for me to hold this great and meaningful event in the presence of the Director of International Relations, Trade and Diplomacy of the State of Utah Franz Kolb and so many representatives of the Italian and Italian American Community and leaders from the local businesses and universities.
Huge thanks to Nobel Prize Prof. Mario Capecchi for honoring us with his presence.
Thank you also to Salt Lake City Council Member Victoria Petro, General Authority of Seventy of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints Massimo De Feo for joining and celebrating with us!
