The Summer of 2024 is underway, can you smell the fried dough yet? It's a little early in the season for harvest festivals, but the 2024 Italian Festival scene is heating up. Here a list of the upcoming Italian festivals scheduled around Connecticut this year.

Our Lady of Mt. Carmel on Highland Avenue in Waterbury will get things started with their 86th annual Feast July 13-16. All of your favorites are on the menu again, including their famous fried dough, soffrito, meatball and sausage and pepper sandwiches, Italian pastries, Italian ice, espresso, and hopefully OLMC will be bringing Zoogie in to take care of shucking the clams. The OLMC is perfect for families, and a great event for the kids. Live music is slated for each evening up until close.
