It’s back for its 50th year with homemade Italian dishes, live Italian music and a bustling midway full of rides, games of chance and prizes. That’s because Holy Rosary Church is celebrating the 50th year of Festa! their annual Italian Festival and biggest fundraiser. Admission is free and runs from 5 to 10 p.m. Aug. 10, 11 and 12.
There will be homemade Italian dishes like lasagna al forno, ravioli fritta, suffrito, porchetta, fried dough and fried calamari all cooked by parishioners. For those who haven’t had enough they can follow it up with delicious, albeit fattening desserts. There’ll be rides for the kids provided by Rainbow Amusements with a $20 bracelet on Thursday that will allow a night of rides.
