People who were fans of Pasquale's Deli in Binghamton will be pleased to learn the place is about to reopen with the same menu they remember. The popular business on the city's East Side shocked customers when it closed without advance notice 16 months ago.
A short statement on the Pasquale's Deli Facebook page said the closing was due to "some unexpected circumstances, staffing shortage and issues beyond our control."Several months later, the place reopened as "Pasquale's Soup and Sandwich Shop." But the new operation didn't retain the same menu as the iconic neighborhood deli and closed after a short time.
