Antonio Fava, Maestro of Commedia dell’arte, will present his book “Vita Morte e Resurrezione di Pulcinella” (Pulcinella’s Life, Death and Resurrection) at the Italian Cultural Institute of Chicago, in collaboration with Laughing Stock Theatre.
“This work is not a philological or historical work. It is a work of aesthetics, poetics, and structural analysis on what is nowadays called Commedia dell’Arte. This type of theater is the most concrete, long-lived, structured theatrical genre or system of theatrical genres.
