Bread & Butter Concepts drops plans for Italian restaurant in Westwood

Locally owned Bread & Butter Concepts had planned to open G. Berto Cucina in Westwood's Woodside Village in late 2015. But delays pushed back the opening, and now the company says it is moving on.

In a statement, founder Alan Gaylin said: "I am passionate about bringing a modern Italian restaurant to the community. However, the timing of the completion of the Woodside Village project conflicted with many other projects at Bread & Butter Concepts, we are growing our local business and have had to make the tough business decision as to which of those projects we could successfully open."
