National Coffee Month is nearing its end but that doesn't mean you're going to stop drinking coffee. In fact, if you're like other Americans you might be nursing a cup of coffee right now. Galllup recently found that 64 percent of American adults reported drinking at least one cup of coffee daily, with only 10 percent of those who consider themselves coffee "addicts" wanting to cut back. If you're a coffee drinker looking to try something new, then you can get a solid cup of Italian-style coffee -- I mean, espresso -- at Carluccio's in Alexandria.
The caffé and market just opened in Old Town, marking the first location in the U.S. If you can't afford a trip to Italy to sip coffee at a cafe, you're in luck: you can enjoy two different types of coffee blends at Carluccio's. According to the restaurant, the "Napoli blend is rich with a good kick of Robusta while Milano is smoother and Arabica based." Both are roasted in Italy exclusively for Carluccio's.
