If it's late August you know exactly what's happening on the bucolic country estate of the late Sergio Franchi, and you know exactly what Franchi's charming widow, the unstoppable Eva Franchi, is up to. "Dahling, I'm on overdrive," says Eva, in her lilting Hungarian accent, as she prepares for Saturday's outdoor concert; "Superstar Forever! Celebrating 25 years of Sergio."
Just as she's done every August for the last 20 years, Eva is getting ready to play hostess to thousands of music lovers who flock to Stonington's Sergio Franchi drive to enjoy an afternoon of "great classical music with romantic, internationally-acclaimed tenors."
