Well-known TV chef and author Mario Batali is showing some love for Boston's restaurant scene. Batali tells USA Today that Boston is one of his favorite food cities in America. According to the newspaper, he likes zipping up to Boston from New York via train for a bite.
"Home to the freshest clams on this coast and the most delicious cream pie," Batali says about Boston. He suggests going to any hotel along Boston Harbor for oysters, and plugs Greek restaurant Doretta Taverna & Raw Bar, which is run by his friend Michael Schlow.
