An Italian restaurant with locations across Massachusetts is eyeing Hingham for an expansion, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. Comella's, which specializes in affordable Italian dining, retail, and catering, is set to take over the now-closed Salsa's Mexican restaurant at 211 Lincoln St.
Gene Comella thought of the concept for Comella's in 1988 and later opened the first location in Wellesley. This family business has since expanded to Arlington, Belmont, Chestnut Hill, Concord, Marblehead, Melrose, Natick, Needham, West Newton, West Roxbury, and Westwood.
