Of all the Little Leaguers at the Darcey School field in Cheshire on Wednesday, no one had a bigger cheering section than North Haven's Dante Chiappetta. A handful of Yale football players and a couple of Bulldogs coaches dropped by to root for Chiappetta, who turned 7 on Thursday.
This is part of an ever-growing relationship between Chiappetta and the Yale football program, which began over a year ago through Team IMPACT, a non-profit organization that connects children with chronic illnesses with local collegiate teams.
