Giacomo's Ristorante is coming to Melrose. The North End staple will be adding a location at 454 Main St., the site formerly occupied by Absolutely Fabulous. This comes as no surprise to residents who have seen signs on the window of the building since July, which read: "Giacomo's Ristorante: Coming Soon."
On June 30, Mayor Rob Dolan wrote on his blog: "I am pleased to hear that a lease is being finalized that will bring a high end Italian restaurant to the location previously occupied by Absolutely Fabulous." The restaurant has locations at 355 Hanover St. in the North End and at 431 Columbus Ave. in the Back Bay.
