Stella's Pizza in Brockton is the official winner of The Enterprise's best Italian sandwich poll, sweeping the six other finalists with a whopping 50.21% of the vote. The North End Market & Deli in Brockton finished in second place with 19.04%, while Submarine Galley in Abington eked out a three-vote third-place finish over Brockton's Italian Kitchen.
This is the second Enterprise poll Stella's has won in the past five months. In December, the classic Italian-American joint was voted best traditional pizza in the Brockton area. Five months later, Stella's is back on the top step of the podium, this time, for their Italian subs.
