The North End Waterfront’s seafood restaurant, il Molo, has reinvigorated its offerings for the summer by adding some of the most nostalgic summer dishes from New England and Italy to the menu, which are enhanced by Executive Chef Pino Maffeo’s unique flair. The menu showcases exceptional, locally sourced ingredients – including Cape Cod clams and mussels, native corn and Atlantic salmon – bringing out the freshest and most delightful seasonal flavors the region has to offer.
Seafood lovers can choose from two new interactive and Instagram-worthy menu additions such as a twist on the traditional Shellfish Tower in the form of a Hot Tower – which features three steamy tiers of Oysters Rockefeller with spinach and parmigiana, Clams Casino with bread crumbs, bacon and herbs, grilled marinated Hawaiian Prawns, topped with a bowl of Steamed Maine Mussels ($MKT) – or an unparalleled Boston Clam Bake feast comprised of a whole Maine lobster, Cape Cod clams and mussels, native corn, local chorizo sausage, red bliss potatoes and Swiss chard in a seasoned broth, served with grilled lemon and an apron to complete the archetypal New England experience ($MKT). Add on items include crab cakes, grilled octopus or a grilled Maine lobster tail.
