
A new restaurant has opened at 278 Park St. in New Haven. Casanova is next door to The Place 2 Be, according to The Connecticut Scoop. The new Italian restaurant "brings flavors of Italy that meet the charm of Old World romance, inspired by Giacomo Casanova himself," according to the restaurant's website.
Casanova serves handcrafted pasta, wood-fired pizza, and "simple, elegant dishes made to delight." The restaurant also serves crafted cocktails, oysters, lobster tail, and more. Chef Joseph Iannacone brings experience in Michelin-starred kitchens and mentorship from world-renowned chefs, according to his bio.
