The locally owned Marrello Restaurants and Catering, which operates three area Bellini's locations and Jacob & Anthony's American Grille in Saratoga Springs, will launch its next concept, J&A Italian, in the former Creo building in Stuyvesant Plaza in Guilderland.

An opening in mid- to late November is projected, company owner Joe Marrello tells me. Renovations have modified the building into a sit-down restaurant for J&A Italian and, where the Creo bar used to be, a counter-style concept like Bellini's Counter in Latham, where customers have food prepared to order as they move along a line. Another Bellini's Counter will open around the same time in the Park South development near Albany Medical Center, Marrello says.
