We walked into Garozzo's on Tuesday night, and inside of 10 seconds I heard the booming voice of Mike Garozzo. "My favorite sportswriter!" roared my favorite restauranteur.

I have no illusions that Garozzo has studied the issue and declared me superior to Joe Posnanski or Mike Lupica. It's plenty enough for me that Garozzo keeps running his jewel of a business in the old Columbus Park district just northwest of downtown Kansas City.
