More than 10,000 kilometres in just two weeks: from Tokyo to New York, PDO buffalo mozzarella is pressing ahead with its international promotional tour. Following its participation in an EU Commission-led trade mission to Japan, the Italian cheese has arrived at the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York, North America’s leading agri-food exhibition, taking place at the Jacob Javits Convention Center from June 29 to July 1.
The Consortium for the Protection of Mozzarella di Bufala Campana PDO will be present at stand No. 2523 within the official Italian Pavilion, as it continues to strengthen its presence in a market that already represents between 7% and 10% of its total exports, equivalent to nearly €20 million annually.
