
A: My parents opened their first restaurant in 1983. I was 13 years old and had already been around restaurants before that. My mom's brother owned and operated a very popular Italian restaurant called Rugantino's on the Stamford-Darien border.
My mom purchased a rundown pizza place on Main Street in Norwalk. I washed dishes and learned how to make pizzas.
