Regina's Grocery in the Lower East Side is home to some of best Italian Sandwiches in New York City. That's according to Mike Chau aka @foodbabyny, the mastermind behind an incredibly successful food blog and Instagram account. Chau recently took abc7ny on an eating tour that included a stop at Regina's Grocery.
Roman Grandinetti is the owner. He named the place after his mom Regina and explained that their Italian sandwiches are inspired by family members. There are more than a dozen sandwiches on the menu.
