From June 25 to June 28, 2017, more than 125 Save Venice supporters from around the world gathered in Venice for the biennial Gran Gala a Venezia: A Venetian Affair. These four unforgettable days were filled with engaging expert-led visits to Save Venice’s restorations around the city, sumptuous meals in beautiful Venetian settings, and evening performances by world-renowned singers and musicians.

After kicking off the first evening on Sunday, June 25 with a welcome presentation by Save Venice Chairman Dr. Frederick Ilchman, guests enjoyed cocktails in the picturesque rose garden of Palazzo del Seminario Patriarcale, generously hosted by Board Members Elizabeth Locke and John Staelin. A candlelit dinner under the starlit sky in the cloister of Palazzo del Seminario followed, accompanied by the melodious sounds of a harpist.
