There are few more beloved cuisines than Italian, and Eater NY recently published its list of the 23 best Italian restaurants in New York City. "This list captures the best of the best Italian restaurants, new and old, in New York City — serving up all the pasta, pizza, and seafood any New Yorker (or tourist) could want," wrote the Eater staff.
A single Upper West Side Italian eatery made the list, in fact, it was the only Manhattan restaurant above 14th Street to earn a spot on the rankings. Eater named Celeste at 502 Amsterdam Avenue, between West 84th and 85th Streets, one of the 23 best Italian eateries in all five boroughs.
