Hi everybody, first of all let us wish a Happy birthday to our city, the capital of our beloved country, Rome: the legend tells that on April 21st Rome will celebrate its 2768th birthday, being born in 753 BC! As you know, We the Italians has its headquarters in Rome, and we're very proud to be born and raised in the Eternal City. The most beautiful in the world, to us.

A member of We the Italians' family is publishing a wonderful book! "Love is eating - healthy and tasty Italian recipes for family meals" is the new cookbook by Paola Lovisetti Scamihorn, the author of the Italian cuisine column on our magazine! This engaging everyday Italian cookbook features simple recipes highlighting fresh, seasonal, local and healthy ingredients. Italian food is simple, tasty and zesty. You can whip up a mouth-watering meal with only a few ingredients, in no time, putting a delectable dinner on the table with a minimum of stress and maximum of taste. The book is divided into four chapters (first courses, main courses, salads and side dishes, and of course, desserts) plus an appendix with some basic Italian preparations such as fresh egg pasta, orecchiette pasta or pizzoccheri pasta, tomato sauce and mascarpone cheese. As always, also in our 58th issue of this magazine we will bring you on an interesting "Grand Tour" of the amazing Italy.
