Ah, the cafe latte; it’s the creamy craft of roasted beans, steam and foam in a way that warms the spirit. Few sounds are more heartening on a winter morning than a barista pulling an espresso shot, steam-firing a cup of milk and then swirling the white sheen and foam straight into a cup of dark coffee concentrate.
A true cafe latte is a thing of beauty, radiating heat and an easy, aromatic ping in the nose. More often than not, it’s served with a swaying surface of beige and pearl art.
