Piada Italian Street Food will celebrate the grand opening of its first Minnesota restaurant Dec. 19 in Chanhassen at 190 Lake Drive East. This will be the restaurant's 26th location nationwide. Piada combines modern Italian cuisine in made-to-order meals. The menu, originally inspired by Italian food carts, offers guests an array of health-conscious, customizable options.
Guests can create more than 30 different dishes with the three customizable entrees available, the Piada, a Pasta Bowl, or a Chopped Salad. The Piada is a wrap made from a thin crust Italian dough baked on a stone-grill, filled with authentic Italian ingredients. "We're excited to open in Chanhassen and to actively engage and support the community, which is a great deal of our company culture and reflects our values," said CEO Chris Doody in a news release.
